About

I've been lucky enough to work on some of the greatest brands in the world at some of the best agencies in the world.

At J. Walter Thompson, I penned the voice of DeBeers Diamonds. At the end of the last millennium, Ad Age ranked our campaign 6th best of the 20th century. I also called creative shots for Rolex, overseeing an exhausting amount of work from New York and Paris as we ushered one of the world's most revered brands into the digital age. A new business highlight at JWT: I created a campaign for the $80m Valdecoxib pitch. Pfizer loved it so much, they awarded us with the $120m Celebrex account.

At Publicis, I created the “Life Opens Up When You Do” campaign for Crest and Oral-B. The first global campaign to bring these iconic brands together. Leading the charge to create a unified brand vision, I supervised multiple teams and partner agencies including media, strategy, digital and social content as well as public relations. We not only created award-winning work, we helped grow P&G's oral care business 7% and the Crest 3D White business 23%. Our work was the first to earn the P&G Award of Excellence four years in a row, ultimately contributing to P&G's decision to award Publicis with the Tampax account without a pitch.

At McGarryBowen, I was a Group Creative Director on both the United Airlines and Chevron accounts. During my tenure, both accounts went up for review for reasons beyond our control. We not only prevailed and retained them both, but we substantially increased our billings by winning all of the digital work that was previously being handled by other agencies.

My strengths are in finding simple human truths and creating compelling brand stories around them. I also enjoy being a mentor and a positive influence to junior creatives.

Along the way, my work has been recognized by Cannes, Communication Arts Advertising Annual, London International Awards, NY Festivals, Athenas, Obies, National Addys, Effies and others.
